*** EDIT ::: As of Tuesday September 8th, 2009 --- the following updates have been applied.
- Grades 8 through 10 will not be required to upload as per the guidelines stated below. Therefore, they are exempt from uploading regularly.
- Grades 11 through 12 will have to follow the steps below and turn in their assignments online.
- However, Sister Lisa Kader reserves the right to upload ANY paper if she suspects there to be plagiarism. This applies to all grades between 8 and 12.
Please feel free to comment here if you have any questions.
Starting this year, all documents submitted by students in Sister Lisa Kader's class will be subject to a plagiarism scan that will be cross-checked between documents online and by other documents submitted by students at Al-Hadi High School.
Because of this new policy, all documents must be submitted in both print and also electronic form. [Though the electronic procedure only applies to final copies of documents.]
The electronic submission procedure is as follows. :::
- Students with internet and e-mail access must attach their documents as a .doc or .txt file and e-mail the file to the e-mail address that will be given to them when school starts. The subject of the email must have the student's name in it and title of the document, with the body of the email replicating the subject.
- Students with internet but no e-mail access will be able to use a free upload utility such as SendSpace, which of course, is free.
- Students who have neither internet or e-mail access will be able to submit the document via flash-drive transfer, CD/DVD, or any other means which is possible.
Documents that will be scanned include, but are not limited, to the following :::
- Essays.
- Research Papers.
- Projects with any written material.
- All other written material.
All students are asked to view the corresponding posts about how avoid plagiarism, as plagiarism has its consequences.
